Our son,partner,brother,father and friend Shay was horribly and cowardly taken from us on Friday the
13th, a day we will never ever forget..We are all heartbroken and will never get over the loss and
the pain we feel every single waking minute..We would love for you to leave a message, a thought or
a poem, anything at all here for Shay. We can only hope and pray that he will see them up there in
heaven and know we are all thinking about him and talking about him every single day. He is gone
from out lives but he will never ever be forgotten as so many loved and cherished him and he lives
on in us all especially Jodie and Ricky his two angels on earth..We hope to see juctice for what
happened to Our beloved Shay and when we recover at little from this living nightmare we will do all
in our power to make sure this happens..

back in the old school days
Seamus,
you were one of the cool boys at school. Back in 4th class, as the teachers had spread everyone away from they're immediate mates and put girls sitting with the boys. My desk partner became you.
I had to start wearing glasses for a lazy eye & of course, kids being cruel, one day I got slagged by 2 boys. To my surprise & delight, you turned around to them & said "Leave her alone, it's not her fault she has to wear them". Ever since that, I never got another slagging about wearing glasses that year! And I've never forgotten that Seamus.
Unfortunately, I was in hospital back around March 15th of this year for 2 weeks & have only heard recently from another school mate of this awful tragedy. You were well liked at school & my father knew your own father growing up.
May you Rest In Peace Shay & look over all your family. Una Phelan x x x

Hard Hard Week
Well Shay, This has been one of the hardest weeks since you have left us...There was always such a buzz around the house with all the birthdays together..and you were the lucky one cos yours was last so you could really milk it..(and go missing for a week...haha)..You would have loved Wednesday..so many came to show how much they love you and still think about you and miss you..It was such a comfort to have so much support..Everyone loved writing the messages and memories, although it was very emotional..We watched your balloons fly off for ages, we hope you got them all...You would have to have gotten Ricky's, the little scamp muct have let off about 10, it was hilarious..you may as well be looking at you when he is around....And poor little Joe was just so confused, and stubborn like her dad but she let hers off in the end too..So I hope your birthday was a great party, we were all thinking and talking about you...love you so much...xxx
